July 2025: UFO Report

The UFO Report is a monthly look at what has been reported to MUFON and NUFORC, the main reporting centers for UFO sightings.
During the month of July 2025, three official reports were made.
July 4, 2025. 4:40 PM. Sitka, AK. Object was at 10:30 to 11:00-high azimuth and, it was moving along it's length from West-Northwest to East-Southeast in relation to me. The object was moving slowly. There were no contrails present. The object was located at due-West from me. The object was white and cylindrical, it looked large. I estimate it's altitude to be between 5,000 feet and 10,000 feet above sea level. I watched the object for approximately 2 minutes. I proceeded to walk to Heart Lake (57.0487170932101, -135.23972496847293). As I was paddling a boat around Heart Lake, the boat that I was paddling slowed abruptly, once. This did not happen again. The weather conditions at Heart Lake were, unlimited visibility and, calm winds. No one was present with me at Heart Lake. (NUFORC)
Alaska Space Editor: This sounds almost like it may have been something similar to the famous "tic-tac" UFO video released from the Pentagon, only this object was moving slow.
July 13, 2025. 9:55 PM. Talkeetna, AK. Object was not observed with the naked eye. It was noticed in the far right of the photo (attached) a few minutes later. The photo was taken by my 14-year-old son with an iPhone 11 from the elevated deck of the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge.
Photo was taken in open air, not from behind a window. The photo captures a few frames in sequence which shows the object moving erratically independent of the slight motion of the camera.
Alaska Space Editor: This is a strange looking cyan light in the far distance. I ran it through a number of filters to see if I could pick up any particulars in the photo, then I looked at it through a photo forensic program. According to the metadata, the only alteration is the addition of the MUFON logo. The cyan light appears just as the clouds appear upon a quick analysis. If the light was closer or if it repeated in a straight line, I would suggest a reflection; but, this is too small and too distant.
July 25, 2025. 11:30 PM. Anchorage, AK. Bright light would go from left then stay still then move right stay still repeated up to about 12 minutes my video I recorded just under five minutes but did observe for nearly 12 minutes.

Alaska Space Editor: This appears to be a genuine UFO. The sudden change in direction, the hovering, the speed of travel. If this was an airplane it would have one direction of travel, typically, and indicator lights.
